League Update - April 4th 2020

Bison Families,

I wanted to quickly give everyone an update on the current status of the 2020 NCYBA Rec season. Without question, we all want to play baseball, but we are at the mercy of both the continued spread of COVID-19 and the state and local regulations preventing large gatherings.

As the process continues to play out, our first obligation continues to be the health and safety of our players, coaches and families. The Board will continue to meet during the month of April to access our options and to monitor guidance from both the Town of Colonie and the State of New York. When the stay at home orders are lifted, the league will need two to three weeks to get everything in order to begin and execute the rec program.

We will continue to regularly communicate all updates throughout this process. Please know, our goal remains to deliver a rec baseball season. These are unprecedented times and I appreciate your patience and continued support of our program.

Remember, the one constant through all the years has been baseball. Stay safe.
